Misterton Village Emergency Plan
This is a parish approved emergency plan to support the parish and its parishioners in the event of an emergency.
It has been set up by an Emergency Team meeting and reporting back to the Parish Council with input from emergency services and other local agencies. The Plan is available on the parish website or a hard copy is available from any of the Emergency Team (ET) members, who can be contacted as follows:
- Iain Rowland – 01460 78951
- Jackie Hewitt – 01460 75588
- Phil Clifton – 01460 73815
- Sally Gray – 01460 73815
- Neil Gratton – 07949 003042
The Plan covers what to do in most emergencies from fire and flood to adverse weather, rail and road accidents as well as who to contact and what community facilities are available.
If you have any queries please contact one of the ET members: it is the parish’s plan and ET members are happy to answer any questions.
More recently MERT has been co-ordinating the village’s Covid-19 emergency support network. If you would like to assist, or feel that you would benefit from support, please contact a member of the team.
